Keller Williams Named 2nd Best Top Iowa Workplace

2015-09-09 14.30.22Keller Williams was selected as the second best mid size workplace in the State of Iowa for 2015. The Des Moines Register announced the award September 9th, 2015.

“We are thrilled that our agents love where they work, and love the culture we have inside this company,” says Brian Wentz, Team Leader for Keller Williams Greater Des Moines.

“Our model is built around an agent-centric company,” Wentz says. “Where most real estate companies spend a tremendous amount of their resources promoting their brand to consumers… we spend all of our time and resources investing in our agents”.

“We have turned the decision-making over to our agents so they are involved in every decision that impacts them, through the Associate Leadership Council… and we open the books to shed light on the health of the company,” Wentz said. “When you combine that model with the opportunity to keep 100% commission, and you share profits with the agents that help build the office, some pretty amazing things happen.”

“Some companies think their brand is their greatest asset. That is old fashion thinking and it makes all the difference when a company believes, instead, their agents are their greatest asset. We simply believe when you invest in the agent, over the brand, it results in your people being happy, valued and as a result productive. That is why we have been named to the list twice in just our 3 years in Iowa,” says Wentz.
