Agents in the KW Greater Des Moines and Ankeny Metro offices are participating in the MAPS Coaching program, know as BOLD. This 7 week intensive training event helps agents grow their business by focusing on the mindset and habits to be a top real estate agent, while also developing their ability to use scripts in the sales process.
A total of 103 agents are taking part in this session of BOLD, which stands for “Business Objective: A Life By Design”.
Brad Johnson, a seasoned agent in the Ankeny Metro office says “I doubled my business in 2014 as a result of taking BOLD last year, and I wouldn’t miss BOLD for anything!”
The results are no less impressive for newer talent in the industry. Joe Hand, an agent in his first year from the Greater Des Moines office says BOLD is already having a positive impact on his business. “I sold one home, have successfully negotiated homes for 3 other buyers, and have written 2 other offers in just the past week! My lead generation skills are improving daily.”
Agents who attended BOLD in 2014 from Des Moines experienced a 176% increase in total closed units, and an increase of 187% of listings sold over those who did not attend BOLD. The same group of agents earned an additional $40,422 in the six months after BOLD, over those agents who did not attend BOLD.
Brian Wentz, Team Leader for KW Greater Des Moines, says “Bold is all about developing the mindset of the high achiever in every agent. It’s a transformational experience that goes far beyond the sales skills, and includes a powerful experience for agents to move past limiting beliefs that hold them back from achieving their greatest potential in business, and in life.”
Agents attending BOLD from Des Moines, in 2014, averaged 15.4 total contracts written in the 7 week BOLD session, as compared to the average agent in the US, which closes only 9 transactions a year, according to the National Association of Realtors.
“If an agent wants to grow their business in the year ahead, I am always happy to schedule a time to meet and review their goals and business. Often we are able to add thirty to fourth thousand dollars to their income just by implementing systems and models in their business”, Wentz says.
